FBC offers attenders the opportunity to attend a 3-year, college-level study through the Word of God.
Students study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine. FBI combines solid Bible teaching with interactive dvd’s utilizing student workbooks and materials. The class meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and entails 2 semesters per year with a winter and a summer break between semesters.

There are many things I could say about the FBI class but probably the biggest is seeing the Bible as a whole and how it all fits together. An example would be the book of James being the first New Testament Epistle written and its intended audience being the Christian Jews as they were being scattered by persecution. Also I have always found Ezekiel as kind of a closed book to me as I have always found getting any kind of meaning out of the beginning of the book difficult. I found Brother Yates’ explanation of those events in Ezekiel very informative and look forward to spending time in Ezekiel now with the background of that knowledge. In addition I really like the fellowship with the other students in the class.
FBI is an excellent program that takes you through the Bible with an emphasis on personal sanctification and evangelism. I highly recommend this course of study. I have benefitted greatly through seeing Christ’s presence and my own accountability to Him in each book of the Bible we have studied. I have especially enjoyed attending the classes with my children, and having many discussions with them about the topics presented.
Faith Bible Institute is a fantastic 3 year journey through the Bible, including 4 semesters of Theological classes. It is a joy to hear Brother John Yates’ weekly teaching/preaching. I have continued to grow in my Faith because of it. He really puts everything in context. The 3 hours of class fly by, and the fellowship with the other students really makes it uplifting. You can get college level credits too. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
When our church first introduced this program to us I was curious. So my daughter and I signed up for it and have been so blessed as a result. I have always wanted to take a college course but wasn’t sure what direction to go and God opened this opportunity for me. I fear tests but was challenged to do the tests. I Passed! We are now in our 3rd semester and I am holding a 3.33 GPA. I am so excited about this course I am trying to encourage others to take this course as well. Thank you for all the time you have put into this course.
I attend the classes at First Baptist of Harrison, MI and I am on my 3rd time thru the College program- I learn something new each time. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants to learn God’s Word to come and see what it’s all about with this program.
